Dental and Vision

Why You Need Dental Insurance?

Dental insurance is a type of coverage that helps offset the cost of dental care. Plans are available for individuals, families, or groups and generally fall into three main categories, each offering different levels of benefits and coverage options.

  • Indemnity (or sometimes called: true dental insurance) which allows you to see any dentist you want who accepts insurance.

  • Preferred Provider Network dental plans.

  • Dental Health Managed Organizations (DHMO) in which you are assigned to an in-network dentist or in-network dental office and must stay within that network to receive your dental benefits.

Vision Insurance

Vision insurance helps cover the cost of eye care services provided by professionals like optometrists and ophthalmologists. With a variety of vision insurance providers available, most plans offer annual eye exams along with partial or full coverage for eyeglasses, contact lenses, and even prescription sunglasses. Coverage details, including copays, vary depending on the specific plan you choose.
