How we can help with Medicare!

New to Medicare

You are not alone – we will guide you through the enrollment process.

Are you approaching age 65 within the next year or planning to retire later? Patti can help you understand the fundamentals of Medicare and the associated costs, giving you a clear idea of what to expect. If you are still employed, she can also compare your existing group insurance with available Medicare options to help you make the best decision. Should you decide to enroll in Medicare, Patti will review additional plan choices with you, as outlined in the following section.

Plan Review and Options

You have many plans to choose from – let’s find the right one for you!

Patti will assess your healthcare needs to determine whether your current plan still meets them. She will review if you’re receiving all the benefits you’re entitled to and whether you’re paying a fair price. She’ll also explore if there are plans with lower prescription drug costs or additional benefits that your current coverage may lack. Patti will research your available options and guide you through the enrollment process.

Have Medicare AND Medicaid?

You may qualify for a Special Needs Plan with extra benefits.

Are you currently enrolled in Medicare and receiving Medicaid benefits? Many seniors who qualify for Medicaid may not realize they are eligible for special Medicare Advantage plans that provide enhanced medical benefits beyond what Medicaid alone offers. Patti will verify your eligibility, compare available plans, and assist you with enrollment.

Plans for Veterans

Many plans offer extra benefits beyond VA or Tricare coverage.

Are you a veteran enrolled in Medicare Part A and Part B? In many areas, $0 monthly premium plans are available, offering access to extensive provider networks along with additional benefits like dental, vision, hearing care, fitness memberships, and more. Some plans may even include a reduction in your Part B premium, depending on your location.

Expensive Prescription Drugs

Let’s see if you qualify for programs to reduce your prescription costs.

Social Security provides an Extra Help program to assist with prescription drug costs. If you qualify, you could save an average of $5,000 per year on your medication expenses. Eligibility is determined by your income and financial resources. This program may also cover your monthly Part D prescription premium and eliminate any late enrollment penalties for Part D.

Patti is also well-versed in various prescription discount programs and patient advocacy resources that may help you save even more.
